License will no Longer Work

Good morning,

My license to TextPad has stopped working. Have I exceeded some limit on number of installs?

Nevermind, it was the issue of characters in words. Added the required ones, and now all is well. Thanks.

Comment Syntax not working

Believe I have followed all the rules. My comment start and end tags have been defined, as has the comment color. However, the settings are not taking effect. Comment colors are the same as plain text. Must be missing something?

Thanks for syn file. Problem comes with color definitions linked to keywords, and use of markup characters such as <...>, as indicated in my original posting.

Wyntax Coloring Issues

Syntax colors weirdness - Keywords 4 I have unique colors defined for [keywords 4], which contains four entries in the associated .syn file. When I look at those words in my working file, they are not rendered in their intended color. I also have unique CommentStart and CommentEnd strings defined ...

New syntax class

Trying to syntax-highlight content of a new document class. Have some ??'s. My "brackets" start with (~ and end with ~). I added both to my .syn file after "BracketChars". I would like to change text color of content appearing between those symbols. How is that done? How can syntax colors be edited ...

"Textpad" option in context menu - Win64

Just installed TP in Windows 7 64 bits. Would you please show me how to configure the program so that "Textpad" is included in the list of options when user right-clicks a file. This is usually the default case, but not here.

I thought I indicated in another reply that I had solved this issue. It had to do with number of columns for wrapping, which should be unchecked. That was preventing the wrap.

Thanks for following up.

Icon in My Computer

I have registered the .txt file type to be associated with TextPad. When I look at My Computer | Tools | Folder Options | File Types, the .txt extension shows the TextPad icon. When I look at files in Windows Explorer or My Computer, .txt files have the default Windows logo. In another installation ...

Word Wrap

Please ignore comments about word wrap. All is well. Regarding the dashed lines, are they perhaps a new feature in 4.7? I will probably become accustomed to them. :)

Dashed Lines at Cursor

Just rebuilt my system. When I installed TextPad and started the program I noticed two horizontal dashed lines, one above and one below the cursor position. Also word wrap has no effect. Are these two related? How can I get rid of the dashed lines?

Word Wrap

For some reason word wrap has no effect. Wrapping does not occur, even when the option is checked and shown enabled.

Another strange effect is the appearance of dashed lines just above and just below the current location of the cursor.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

tks,

jwc
