hi, im new to java

ive been having some problems running textpad. ive fixed the compile programs, but running it is a problem. when i press ctrl + 2, i get the dos screen saying

"c:\sun\appserver\jdk\bin is not recognized as an internal or external command

operable program or hatch file"

how can ...

i dont get it, how do i do this

When I try to compile Java i get a message saying

C:\WINDOWS\system32\javac.exe
saying "The system cannot find the file specified".

When i run the program i get

c:\sun\appserver\jdk\bin is not recognized as an internal or external command

operable program or hatch file.

how do i fix this
