Thanks for the reply. Perhaps this should be added as a file class in the default configuration of Textpad?

Can't use TextPad to edit .reg registry files
Hi, I exported a registry section to a .reg file then fired up Textpad v4.7.3 to edit. I modified one line in the file and saved. The result is that windows does not recognize the format of the file and will fail to execute the file. Cannot import <file>: The specified file is not a registry script....
