Moderators are ignoring this thread
It looks like this issue is being ignored by the moderators *and* TextPad. I have switched back to version 4.7.3. There are some features I like with 5.x, but if opening a file into an existing instance of TextPad is not corrected, I cannot see upgrading. I'll be sticking with 4.7.3. At the very lea...

I had the same issue. The file always opened, but Windows still reported that it could not find the file. I had to fix this via the registry. I am also getting used to programs that use the "X" on the tab, but like the earlier post, I think it adds too much room when you have a screen full of tabs (documents) open. I would much prefer that this be a *customizable* option (like Firefox) so that the "X" can be placed on ...
