The issue persists for me, even after re-starting TextPad.

I have confirmed that the affected file extensions are not defined under any other document class in TextPad.

I am skeptical that the syntax file itself (plsql.syn) is the source of the issue, since nowhere in that file do I see a place ...

No change in behavior for me, even when specifying the 2012 syntax file.

In my syntax highlighting, I have numbers configured to appear in the color teal.

But numbers only feature their syntax highlighting if characters follow them in a line. Numbers at the very ends of lines are not being highlighted:

Do you encounter this with any syntax highlighting, or just with specific ones?

For me, it only appears to be Numbers items whose syntax highlighting fails at the end of a line. Comments, Keywords, Brackets, Characters: all of these syntax-highlight correctly at the end of a line.

I've noticed since 8.1.2, syntax highlighting for numbers fails if the number appears at the very end of a line.

I've noticed this issue/change in behavior in TextPad 8.1.0. Version 8.0.2 works as expected.

I use TextPad for coding.

I'm having problems getting even the simplest of Java programs to run on TextPad 7.

I am running Windows 7 SP 1, 64-bit.

My Java version is 1.7.0_40.

My Ctrl + 1 tool is "Compile Java". This part is working. Under the "Compile Java" tool, I have a Command of:
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40 ...

Go to Configure > Preferences..., and you'll bring up the Preferences dialog.

In the left pane, under "Document Classes", choose the Document Class for which you'd like to change the color of the current line.

Expand the node, and you should see Colors, Font, Printing, Syntax, Tabulation.

I have TextPad 5.4.2 on Windows 7.

I want to upgrade to TP 7, and I would really like to retain my settings. Can I upgrade directly from TP 5 to TP 7, or do I first need to upgrade from TP 5 to TP 6, and then from TP 6 to TP 7?
