Hmm.. . I think it is more serious than that - TextPad is failing to execute the xcopy command.

If I execute as a Tool a batch file containing just:

xcopy /?

I get

S:\xcopy /?

Tool completed successfully

i.e. the command output is missing.

Known bug? Any workaround? Thanks.

if 1 goto end

I get

goto was unexpected at this time.

S:\>if 1 goto end

Tool completed with exit code 255

i.e. the error line shows BEFORE the command that generated it.

Is there a plan to fix the hangs that occur on regexp Find and Replace e.g.

Find what: \t*
Replace with: \t

Having one typo lose all one's unsaved work is rather a PITA.

On moving my Documents and Settings to a new machine and installing TextPad, I was disappointed to find my TextPad settings lost.

Where does TextPad store these settings???
