TextPad 5.4: Problem with Windows shortcuts to files

If B is a Windows file system shortcut to A , and I edit B , TextPad reads in A , and when it writes, it writes the changed text to a new file, B , that overwrites the shortcut, resulting in two different files -- B & A . :cry: The earlier version did not do this. Also Perl is not "a good scripting language". It's a scripting language, but not a good one:-)
