Just thought I'd drop by to add my name to the list of people who have found it necessary to migrate away from TextPad because of the Unicode issue. I just can't get done what I need to get done anymore, and all reasonable faith of a coming new version has been extinguished.

Instead of just begging for info on the next Textpad version, here's a simple thing that could keep people happy.

There's a project I follow called Alurio. If you check out its site , under the "Sigh. Is this project still active at all?" heading, you'll see a sentence that says "The last change ...

Of course it makes it/them less valid. It makes it/them meaningless. It's just there to stirr up dissatisfaction. That's not a real complaint or problem...in other words: not valid.
