"Hard" Word Wrap?
Instead of having textpad wrap a line so that it is several shorter lines, is there a way to make it permanent, so that if I open it in notepad, word, openoffice, etc the text wrapping will be the same?

Opening .doc files in textpad?
Is there any way to open .doc files in textpad, or to convert all the gibberish generated by word's formatting to regular text or removing it altogether? I can't use openoffice because I'm on a pretty old computer and OO kills its memory.
