"Hard" Word Wrap?

Instead of having textpad wrap a line so that it is several shorter lines, is there a way to make it permanent, so that if I open it in notepad, word, openoffice, etc the text wrapping will be the same?

Opening .doc files in textpad?

Is there any way to open .doc files in textpad, or to convert all the gibberish generated by word's formatting to regular text or removing it altogether? I can't use openoffice because I'm on a pretty old computer and OO kills its memory.

unstable regex as replace all freezes textpad

there are certain regular expressions that match zero width , like a pipe '|' at the beginning/end of a statement, or two with nothing between. if an expression like this is used in the replace dialog, and the replace all function is used, textpad freezes in a busy loop (because the expression ...

Find in current open document

Hi,

It would be handy to be able to do a find/seach and be able to limit the search to only the currently open documents in textpad. If that then returned the results in the Find In Files results it would make navigating around documents pretty easy.

Great product guys!
