No because I want to use the functionality of the clip-library which is nothing like a macro. I have written macros to do the job I want, but i like the idea of the clip library.

However, if i'm right and u cannot use the hotspot control code more than once, then i have no other option by to use a ...

I'm not sure if there is a limit of only 1 use of the hot-spot code (\^) in a clip library entry or if I'm doing something wrong.

I want to mkae use of the selected text more than once in a clip-library macro thingy but only the first one ever gets replaced with the selected text.

This procedure does not work 100%. I have followed it several times and it has always failed. In particular the file associations do not seem to register even though the entries are placed back in the registry I still have to go into TextPad and re-enter them manuall EVERY time. I use v4.7.3.
