I LOVE TextPad and have used it for years, but would also LOVE to choose a different look.

I am going to assume that the people who I'm introducing to TextPad will purchase a license, I know them pretty well.

Just wanted to let them know what to expect with the "Trial" version.

I have a purchased copy of TextPad and couldn't imagine living without it. I am going to introduce it to some friends and need to know how long the trial version lasts, any reduced functionality, etc. Sorry if this info is somewhere that I should have seen, but I've looked and can't find it. Thanks ...

I wish I understood what each of those macro characters mean. I know what * means, but that's about the extent...

I did that.

Your function is working perfectly. Once I put it into a Replace - within a macro that included the ability to tell it to continue to the end of the text - it works perfectly.

You asked me for a sample of text that required me to run more than once for it to go thru the text. I've done that. What ...

Sorry, didn't realize the text was too large to include it all, and when it was truncated it lost the [/code] tag at the end.

I have shortened the text and it is now inside code tags properly...

Please provide a small example of input that requires the replacement to be performed more than once. Enclose it in a [code⁠] ... [/code] block. Here my most recent text file, and it took me about a half dozen runs of the macro for it to get everything... (this is an exact copy before anything has b ...
