I get from your answer that Macro Scheduler can't do what I asked.

Let's say that I have a textpad macro called A.

1. With Macro Scheduler you can keep your existing TextPad macros and call them using the same keystrokes/menu choices you have now. You can even create more TextPad macros to be called. So none will be lost.

Do you think is it possible to create a .syn file that highlights strings ("i am a string") longer than X characters?

If that is the case, can you link me to a complete manual on syntax highlight files?

I don't think a macro would do the trick, I'd really only like to highlight the text ...
