I get from your answer that Macro Scheduler can't do what I asked. Let's say that I have a textpad macro called A. This texpad macro is made of three steps: x, y and z. If I understood correctly, all that Macro Scheduler can do while creating "his" macro is recording "the steps I take...

This is getting away from TextPad, and should probably be addressed on the forum for Macro Scheduler at http://www.mjtnet.com/usergroup/index.php You are right, and I'll resort to registering to the MS forum and ask there if that's the only option, but actually my question was easier: Can Macro Sch...

2. Macro Scheduler also has a great macro recorder that you can use to record the existing TextPad macros if you wanted them available to be edited. Just call the TextPad macro while recording in Macro Scheduler, then you can edit the MS macro file as much as you want. This step isn't exactly clear...

Until available from Helios, you can have the best of both ...... 1. With Macro Scheduler you can keep your existing TextPad macros and call them using the same keystrokes/menu choices you have now. You can even create more TextPad macros to be called. So none will be lost. 2. Macro Scheduler also ...

Hello ikjeft01 . Product info available here: http://www.mjtnet.com/macro-scheduler-automation-software.htm Hi Bob, although I am sure that Macro Scheduler works great, I have about approx. 100 Textpad macros that wouldn't be importable/usable anyway so, ironically, I'm stuck with Textpad till the ...

An interesting enigma for all the TextPad gurus out there.

Version 4.7.3 In this post of mine of some time ago I stated that some of my replacement macros didn't work as planned, and that I didn't know "why". http://forum.textpad.com/viewtopic.php?p=26905#26905 But believe it or not, something even weirder happened to me. Did you know that macros ...

Recording/Playing back Macros not working as expected?v4.7.3

Dear members of the Textpad forum, In the last few weeks I made some macros using TP, mostly just string replacement (with some regexp). Anyway, I noticed that a very HIGH percentage of the macro I created don't work properly, e.g. only 1/10th of the macro gets executed at all, I didn't delve into e...

Conditional highlighting?

Hi guys, Do you think is it possible to create a .syn file that highlights strings ("i am a string") longer than X characters? If that is the case, can you link me to a complete manual on syntax highlight files? I don't think a macro would do the trick, I'd really only like to highlight th...
