At last I have found a viable alternative to textpad that is truly portable it is called PSPad, this will be my last post on this forum as I have given up with textpad and moved to a program that is an active project rather than an aging program that appears unsupported.

You actually can run TextPad from a USB stick. The only gotcha is (for now, until there is an honest-to-goodness portable version) that you have to use it in eval mode, and then live with those limitations. This is because registration info is written to the registry. Simply copy the contents of ...
