UltraEdit wins, as you would expect.

I saw other posts to this effect, but will Helios ever touch TextPad again? It's been over six years since a new version was released, and despite the occasional "wait for it" from Helios, a text editor should improve not lay stagnant and decay from developer neglect. If Helios is not developing ...

I would not purchase it until an upgrade comes out. Helios has let TextPad become abandonware, since v.4.x has been little improved in six years. Despite what TextPad users want, Helios is not interested in their own product. Sad really.
