Unfortunately, webdrive + textpad costs $80 - which is more than I'm able or willing to spend on it. I can afford $30 for a text editor, but $80 is uncompetitive. Hi, I need help from Textpad to escape the evil clutches of vi. I'm a web developer, so I spend a lot of my time editing HTML files and PHP scripts on web servers. An alternative way to do it; Take each of the actions defined in Windows Explorer, and dynamically add them to the Tools menu. So, your tools menu has the same options you get if you right-click in windows explorer. It sounds like you'd get a lot of 'free' functionality without changing your TextPad ...
