Seach all open docs using 'In all documents'
I searched the forums for a topic about this, but found nothing answer my question.
I want to search through all documents currently opened in Textpad. I open the search box, check the 'in all documents' checkbox, and click search. The status says 'Found X instances', but clicking 'Find Next' does ...

Thanks Ben, this is all good stuff. Pity about textpads inability to discard groups, but no matter. I get the feeling I should get with the program and use posix syntax? I'll give it a go, but I promise nothing :p
You're right about the [\(\)], plain old \(\) is a more exact match for that.

I had a big code conversion job to do, and it required TP's regexp, so I decided to write a wee tutorial for the others in my office. Sadly, it didn't turn out as I expected it to.

Is it possible to extend Search History
My textpad (4.7.3) only stores the last 10 search strings, is it possible to lengthen this list? To about 50 perhaps?
