Upgraded from 4.7.3 where Spelling was working. Configure / Preferences /Spelling, and Tools / Spelling both give me error message: The files for the English (USA) dictionary have not been installed.... The Dictionary dropdown shows choices, but cannot select any. I uninstalled 4.7.3 dictionary, and...

P.S. I have a NetApp file system where I can access my files on both UNIX and Windows. So I want to directly edit my UNIX startup files. And on Windows, Cygwin uses the same Bash startup file names. So in both cases I cannot change the names.

I have the same problem -- I cannot get TextPad to recognize my UNIX shell startup files. I've added .bashrc, *.bashrc, .cshrc, *.cshrc to my file in class Shell, but syntax highlighting, etc. is not used for those files.
Tips?
