When defining a new Document Class, we can associate a Syntax Library with it. How about allowing us to have a (pre-existing, obviously!) clip-library associated as well, so that whenever we open a document in that class the appropriate clip-library is automatically opened?

If by "insertion point" you mean what TP calls "hot spot" (see help for Clip Libraries) then I wholeheartedly agree with you, to the extent that I tried suggesting this myself at least two years ago! Perhaps the idea got lost in transmission. It would be of great benefit to coders, facilitating ...
