Is there a way I can search and replace for certain tags that contain other text.
e.g. HTML FILES have a <title> GOOSE DOG MONKEY </TITLE> tag.
I need to search and replace this for ANOTHER title tag. Obviously one cant search/replace for <title> because that still leaves the other portion of the ...
I had a very similar problem not long ago. Where I needed unique content to be written, or certain words copied and pasted randomly through out a piece of text.
Sadly textpad cant help you :cry: sorry. It would be nice if text pad had some sort of scripting capability, but it doesn't.

That is a good idea but unfortunately it probably wouldn't work. You see the phrases are constantly changing...for each customer there are different phrases.
So for the time taken to make a new clip library of each customers phrases and to do the relevant FIND/REPLACE function ...
I suppose what I am looking for, in its rawest description, is a method of presenting a piece of software with a list of 10-20 keyphrases, hitting a button, and thus generating a ream [6000 chars or more!] of textual content to use in the marketing.

Does anyone know of a tool / method to enable me to automatically generate some sort of generice description, based on certain templated sentences or something.
Apart from making separate clip libraries for each separate case, is there any way in text pad of colouring a set of words in any given document as a separate paragraph prehaps?
These words could be found in the same document or maybe even in another document?
