Word Count

I might be being a little short-sighted...but is there a WORD-COUNT function in TP?

I see numbers down on the bottom of the window...however these seem to related to the LINE and CHARACTER number of that line.

Any way to swap these numbers for a WORD COUNT instead?

OH no!

All of a sudden my textpad context menu item doesn't work.

I used to be able to highlight a load of html files, right click the collection and hit TEXTPAD, and they all used to get loaded up...

...now that no longer works?

Searching in between text

Is there a way I can search and replace for certain tags that contain other text. e.g. HTML FILES have a <title> GOOSE DOG MONKEY </TITLE> tag. I need to search and replace this for ANOTHER title tag. Obviously one cant search/replace for <title> because that still leaves the other portion of the ...

is it not possible to do a regular expression search and replace for the new line [\n]?

Or prehaps there is a control character there. If there is use the [[:cntrl:]] search and replace. :lol:
