:!: This request is so old now, and I saw many other similar topics/requests. In my opinion the developers should pay a bit more attention to it. At least someone could react on the requests. Whether they are planning to do something around this question or not.

... if we could have the option to have them in one window with tabs to switch between them like a number of editors do that would be useful I like this idea. :D I never use the Clip library , so I could hold in place of that the search window. All extra windows should be dockable (except maybe ...

There could be a second New function in the File menu, something like New temporary document (Ctrl+Shift+N). These documents would not be saved on 'save all changed'-like events (Save All, Close, ...) by default, but could be saved if the user wants it.

Just curious. But does anyone know what the profile is of users for Textpad? Just thinking out loud. Like how many people use Textpad for what reasons and for what features? Though Textpad is a text editor, what is it being used for and how is it being used? Anyone like to comment? I use it as THE ...

Good idea, but TP is a text editor, not an IDE. However if the commenting feature would be added, I think there should be 4 functions: comment/uncomment selection or the line where the cursor resides with line comment comment/uncomment selection or the line where the cursor resides with block ...

Preserving bookmarks after reload

When an another application updates a file that is opened in TP, TP asks whether it should reload it or not. When a file is reloaded the bookmarks vanish. I could use an option for saving those bookmarks. For example when the reload question is asked, then among the Yes and No buttons there could be ...
