OK - I missed the down arrow (I suppose this used to be the plus sign mentioned) under Default, which course brings up a list of options and that's where the COLOUR option lives.

I am going mad trying to change the selected text highlight and text colour as per the instructions. My problem is that when I go to configure - preferences - document classes - default THERE IS NO COLORS OPTION.

Is there anybody can answer this? I had the same question in mind, finding the current limit a little small for my needs, and found this question by searching the forums, only to find that no-one had answered!
