I am seeing the same behavior on Windows 7 RC 64-bit. Loading TextPad the first time after a reboot is really slow, I get the start-up logo and wait and wait. I use Replace in TextPad a lot when programming. I would like to suggest putting 'Find' and 'Replace' on the right-click context menu. It would be handy there. You could highlight what you want to replace, right-click it, select 'Replace' from the context menu and have the Replace dialog come up ...
