Shoot! Stupid mistake. I use VSS and didn't have the files checked out, so they were read-only. I'd think TextPad would tell me the files are read-only rather than "can't find literal string." Anyway, after checking them out, it works fine.

I'm trying to do a replace in all open documents: Search string: "Version: 1.0" (5 spaces between : and 1) Replace with: "Version: 2.0" TextPad will find this string in a search but when I try to do a replace either in the current document or all open documents, it says it can't find the literal ...
