And here I thought is was that I just couldn't find the right menu item to turn these off. I don't want to have these extras open all the time. They are easy enough to turn off, but it's annoying to have to do this every time I start up. Why can't the default startup view be the same as the last tim...

Silly me. Chalk one up for Friday morning.

I have created a new custom file type, and it shows up OK in Preferences..., but it does not show up in Open File, or Save As.

I tried again using the wizard, and same result.

Any suggestions? (Ver. 4.7.3 on XP Pro)
