I have an idea for the menus
Under the Edit menu there should be a choice call "Selection" and under that is everything you can do with marked or selected text. Edit / Selection / Save selection to file Delete Copy Reformat Change Case etc. Yes - it's perhaps redundant. But it would be good for the users to find the command ...

Something easier than that. There should be a feature to mark text and save marked text to a file name. Wordstar used to have that 25 years ago.

Textpad under Linux
This is a bit of an unusual question. I am attempting to run TextPad under Linux using the code Weavers Crossover product. And I'm having some success.
But - when I try to put in the license data - it crashed the application.
Has anyone had any success at running TextPad under Linux?
