Open Source

Helios, if you're not going to release another version, at least give it a fighting chance and set it free. The open source community would be more than willing in picking it up.

How about full unicode compliance/support so it's possible to read and write unicode with Textpad? Currently the so-called utf-8 support that exists is *NOT* full support for unicode. What else is there to do other than write a linux port for Textpad? The editors on KDE suck. I'd rather pay the "high price" of Textpad to get it on linux than to use one of those crappy editors on Linux.

I say develop a new version of Textpad to run on Linux. I've looked into other X editors on Linux and they're just lacking in features that I'm used to on Textpad.
