I've set backup timer to 1 minute. Now when editing a longer message in thunderbird, the mail client prompts me to send the mail every time i see textpad autosaving. luckily it had some characters that made my interaction nescessary. otherwise it would have been quite painfull to have this mail set ...

when trying to browser [..] to a file in the compare files dialog *after* manually cutting som trailing folders the buttons (both) do nothing. browsing is only possible when the respective file entry field is left untouched...

This is very annoying: when u want to compare 2 files the dialog ignores the selection in the filelist. instead it takes only the active plus one random (it seems). so i i select 2 files, then right click one of them it would be nice, if there would be an option: Compare files

there should be an option to cancel the load of a file. eg. in the status bar. one should be prompted with a confirmation request.

(in german textbasuteine) the dialoge is not resizeable. most of my elements are 50 chars + each line. the size is a problem...

it would be nice if textpad would save all files open, wether named or unnamed, in order to rebuild files after crash

when accidently closing te search in files dialog whilst doing a heavy, longterm scan the user looses the ability to stop the scan. textpad should prompt on close of this dialog if the search is to be canceled or otherwise stay where it is!

i urgently need to be able to set and alter a threshhold, at what filesize textpad warns me about the size of a file to open and if i really want it! this implies that textpad needs to warn the user on specific filesizes. it happened to me several times that i've choosen textpad from explorer by ...
