Thanks MudGuard, but I have no problem selecting *whole* lines. The problem is selecting a range of text within a single line.

Currently, TextPad plays a sound on wrapped searches when it crosses the end of the file. That is helpful, but a more useful audible cue would be if it played a (different) sound when your wrapped search reaches the point where it started. Also... Just have the operation automatically pop up a modal warning when you've reached the starting point (OK continues the replace operation; Cancel stops it).
