I did use the "search" button, thanks. I just didn't find what I was looking for at the time....perhaps I didn't input the proper phrases to find what you found....

How does one go about getting the Compile option to appear in the Tools menu? Currently, mine only has Compare Files, Spelling, Sort, Convert to DOS, Explorer, Stop, Run, and User Tool.

Syntax Colors
How does one go about enabling the syntax highlighting? I read through some of the fixes in the forum, but haven't been successful at keeping the syntax highlighted as a default. I right clicked on the offending html document, and changed it through there (it's defaulting as .txt), but it only works...

Hi there- I've been a user of TextPad for a couple of years now, but when I upgraded to 4.7.2, I lost my syntax coloring. I've gone into preferences and reset the default colors for html (just in case it was something I did), and hit apply, but still nothing. I've also browsed your forum and saw whe...
