I searched for "document selector" and "sort" (I *always* search before I post!), but it didn't yield any interesting results. Thank you for the link to that thread! The problem was that I was creating new documents (which got added under "D" for "Document"), then doing a Save As, which gave them ...

The files in my Document Selector aren't displaying in sorted order -- they're not sorted by filename or by full pathname. Is there any way to get them to sort by filename?

I'm using TextPad 5.3.1.

Having just accidentally clicked the Windows "X" icon in the top right corner of the TextPad window instead of the "maximize" icon that I meant to click, and having managed to do that accidentally three times in three days, I think it might be useful to add an "Are you sure you want to exit?" prompt ...
