I'm using TP472 on XPsp1 as well, and it only happens when I'm using TextPad. I'm using standard settings except for the font (using terminal there).

No one else having the same problem I'm having (read two posts up)?

Hello there, I'm having the same problem as Jedi Lofty (I think). I think the problem is if you have too large files open. If i open a file with lets say ~10 rows, then i can highlight with the mouse, but if i open a file with ~1000 rows then i can highlight < 1 second and then the highlighting ...
