Thanks much. One of the threads jogged a memory -- it must have been a Borland IDE that I saw the vertical line on. Hope that that feature can easily be added in a future release of TextPad.

I'm not sure if my memory is right, but I seem to remember that an earlier version of TextPad allowed the display of a vertical line along a specified column of the editor when using a fixed width font.
