Hi bbadmin, I did the file search and now I found the folders for 7 and 9 in the appdata\roaming\helios\textpad folder. They both contain a configstate.xml file. So, does this mean that I can go ahead and uninstall R9, delete the R9 folder, then do the R8 install and then after that do the R9 ...

Didn't see any xml files in the TP7 folder. Any chance of getting a filename to look for?
