TextPad 9 is my default application for editing text files. I want to change the icon of the text files to make it the same icon that TextPad shows for the app itself. The icon that appears for the text files is currently:

We'll consider implementing a "Move to new instance" command in a future release. I can see the benefit with multiple monitors.

That will be helpful.

Of course, I can open different Excel files in different windows of Excel. I can do that with Word, too. But sadly, I am not able to do that in Textpad. Let's say I have two documents open in TextPad in two separate tabs. I want to move one of the document tabs to a new TextPad window. The purpose is to see the two documents side by side on the two monitors I use. I tried dragging one of the document tabs to the second monitor but nothing happened ...
