Would it be possible to add the Undo all / Redo all functions (Ctrl + Shift + Z) and (Ctrl + Shift + Y) to the dropdown menus or to the toolbar? E.g. by changing the function of the Undo / Redo buttons when Ctrl is pressed? Currently the existence of these functions is hidden deeply in the program's ...

While navigating through larger files of code I often use the undo buttons to jump to a place where I have been working before, just to check something or to place a bookmark.

Why not implementing a pair of buttons to jump to recently edited lines?

After thinking about it for a while I would suggest the following behaviour for searches 'overflowing' back to the start / end:

- The Find Next button is pressed.

- A popup message appears: 'Text not found, next find will continue at start / end".

- This popup will disappear with the next ...

After 'testing' the Wrap Searches for a few days I do now usually switch it off because it is very difficult to recognize the jump back to the start / end. I just takes too long to search the same file several times :)

It would be very nice to have something more visible as an 'overflow' indicator ...

In the ctags upload by Frank Fesevur from Feb 20th the ReadMe.htm file contains something completely urelated ("Adobe® Acrobat® Standard and Professional Read Me"). That's not very helpful for getting this add-on to work

But you are right, TextPad is one of the main reasons why I mostly use Windows...

When a find string is typed into the "find what" or "Replace with" fields and I start scrolling through the history of this field by using the mouse wheel, then my original text disappears forever.

Unfortunately this happens pretty often accidentally because of my worn-out mouse wheel :)

The better solution would probably be not to move the horizontal window focus in such cases. At least that's how MS-Word handles this problem. OpenOffice behaves like TextPad

Some more thoughts: the "search passed the end of file" message is displayed in the status bar. I think a message field in the Find panel would be a better place for messages like this because 1) I ...

Wouldn't it be possible that the undo function remembers the selected text. That would help a lot, e.g. when undoing a textblock move (mouse-button drag'n drop)

My settings are word-wrap off and "constrain cursor to text" checked.

When I edit long lines I experience an annoying behaviour. I want to select text through autoscrolling to the end of a long line while holding the left mouse button.

When I now accidentally (but inevitable) move the cursor out ...

I'm regularly using TextPad and find it a great program! :) But there are still a few things I'd like to have improved for the Search / Replace functions:

1) Clicking away those "Cannot find ..." messages is kind of annoying.

Why not adding a small message line to the Find windows instead of ...
