Uh, way out of date, or more likely just out of my mind/misremembering. There are a ton of wordfiles (their name for syntax files) up at the UE site. Less sure about support for creating your own.

Think I figured this out. Alt-Enter for document properties, syntax tab, right? ConTEXT has a dropdown in the toolbar for this, which I like, but it doesn't do a ton of things TextPad can.

Syntax choice for current document

Can I choose the syntax coloring I want used for the current document, regardless of its extension? Say for instance it's a ColdFusion .cfm file, but consists entirely of SQL, and I want to use SQL syntax coloring. Or suppose it's an unsaved document I'm just using to process some text and don't ...

Everything about it is customizable - everything; it's solid as a rock, fast as lightning, and like TextPad, it's easy to get hooked.
