I am on Win7 64bit.
I have been using TextPad English Dictionary for years with no complaint.
I was wondering if it has been updated with me noticing?
If the problem is not W7-64bit or a missed update, what else could it be?

No. It doesn't work. Tinkering with preferences does not return TextPad to the properties menu.

I finally solved the problem the hard way - by uninstalling TextPad and expunging it entirely from the register with RegEdit.
I then installed version 503 and now it works just fine.

I was disappointed to discover that TextPad has been removed from Context menu and shunted into the "Open With" sub-menu.
