Using the END key to put the cursor at the end of any line that runs beyond the edge of the window (as you have said, word wrap must be off) and using either the down or up arrow keys to move two lines* will cause the the cursor to jump to position 1,1 (the start of line one) and then the down arrow ...

Well it's taken over a year but it looks like 8.2.0 has fixed this bug.

The bug happens when editing files with named alternate data streams. Editing the ADS works fine but when editing the regular file all ADS are removed from the file. I’ve made sure “Overwrite original files directly, when saving changes� is enabled.
