The Save configuration command does not save the currently chosen theme from the /Preferences/Appearance.

The "Manage history lists" dialog box is resizable.
Making it wider is fine as the file list widens to fill the available space.
Making the box taller does not result in the file list extending.

The WindowCascade function displays the last file that was put into a new pane, not the file that is currently selected.

When a workspace has documents split into panes (tab groups), saving and later reloading the workspace will sometimes restore panes split vertically as panes split horizontally.

This does not happen often and the pattern behind this is not at all clear.

When switching the workspace via a command line script or via a desktop shortcut, TextPad asks for confirmation for saving the workspace, even if no file has been changed. (Version 8 did not do this.)

Please add an option to disable this confirmation prompt.

The status indicators at the right side of the status bar need better colour contrast when "off". In the Light theme, the "off" indicators almost match the background — light gray on light blue. The Default theme is only slightly better — pale blue on indigo. The Dark theme is OK...

Running TextPad as an administrator removes the macros from the Macro menu.
It should just warn you that it cannot find the macro file — so that when you next run TextPad under your own account, the macros are still in the menu.

There is a configuration option to switch back to the "real" Windows dialog box.
