Seems to be " Syntax definitions for PL/SQL. Contributed by Douglas Crews. Updated by Charles Criss 10 August 2001 " which you manually augmented, but which was surely meant to be working only with older versions of TextPad, not recent ones (without using new attributes). Use Updated syntax ...

Can't reproduce with 8.1.2. Either link to or post your syntax definition file in case you're using 8.1.2, too.

And we had this discussion almost exactly 1 year ago, where you also never responded.

Not needed - just save the file with the encoding "UTF-16" to achieve the same. Or edit an existing REG file (I doubt you're able to write a new one from scratch).

You untick the checkbox for each document class you want. In a 8.1.2 default installation this none of this is ticked.

Are you talking about
  1. Configure > Preferences > Document Classes > Default > Word break at column numer or
  2. Configure > Word Wrap?
As for the latter: I can perfectly have 3.553.679 characters (and more) in one line without having TextPad to wrap it anywhere.

You can see my website by using the link in my signature I did already, otherwise the example in my first reply wouldn't have included Paṇṇsaɱ . a desktop PC with an internal web server That's way too vague: it could be misconfigured, as in sending wrong HTTP headers that let clie ...

BEX64 seems to be unbound to TextPad - search the internet for it and you'll find other programs being affected as well. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/chrome/FdRgxB_S4EA/QlOWAMGDDgAJ (sorry, can't make it a link with this board software - you have to browse that address manually ...

Let's separate all the problems you're throwing into one bowl: TextPad 8 is fully capable of Unicode: it can read it, save it, and display it. Displaying text is bound to which fonts are used and unbound to TextPad specifically - if you use i.e. "Courier New" then you shouldn't wonder why it cannot ...

8.1.2: binary mode: \xFF also matches \x9F

When viewing a file in binary mode and searching for the character \xFF I also get matches for the character \x9F. This doesn't make sense.

In case of WinMerge go the window menu Tools > Generate Report to save the results in your favorite format. However, there's no way to import them.

Code and text are interchangable, hence you can use TextPad for it. You asked for C# specifically - why not for code in general?
