It turns out that Alt-Space then LOOK at the drop down and select T works just fine, but Alt-Space-T does NOT - go figure, bad instructions to myself on my part.

FYI: I am using Windows 7

I want to see ALL files in the folder when I click on File / Open. At present when I'm in a TXT file it only lists the *.txt files. How do I change this to default to showing all files in the present folder?

All I can say is that, it works for me [/b]. I press them like this: Alt & hold it down, Space and hold it down as well, so ALT & SPACE are being held down and then I press "T" and then Textpad is either on top or not, depending on what it was before I pressed all three at the same time.
