i get the error message on every applet that i try to view..


Since it happens on every document that tells me it's something to with textpad and appletviewer not working together. Maybe it has to do with the "Regualar expression to match output" ?

When I try to run appletviewer I get this message:

I/O exception while reading: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\Dots.java (The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect)

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Ok, Well, I tried those directions in the faq's and Texpad compiling still doesn't work. From this, I believe I understand the directions set forth in that section but what I don't understand is why they do not help me correct my problem.

ok...Well, I tried to view all the other posts that pertained to my question and I still don't understand what's going on. My problem is that when I use TextPad and I try to compile a program...a warning appears and states

C:\WINNT\System32\javac.exe
this system cannot find the file ...
