Shortcuts and macros

Hi I need some help on macros. I recently upgraded to version 5.4.2. In the older version - I think it was 4.7.3 - it was possible to associate keyboard shortcuts like "ctrl+1" to my home made macros, but I can't find that feature in the new version. Now I have to type "alt+m", and then "1". And if ...

Hi,

You can make a shortcut to Textpad in the Sendto directory. Thereby you can rightclick the shortcut and select TextPad under Send to.

Hi,

There is no such opportunity. I raised a similar proposal for enhancement in http://www.textpad.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4780 over a year ago :(

Unfortunately, UE isn't the answer, either. Well, just as an experiment I recently asked the UE forums about my most wanted feature in TP (http://www.textpad.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4780) and I still get no answers from them. So I'll be loyal to my beloved TextPad for long time in the future I ...

I really can't see the big deal. Using the syntax file we could have an entry like this: KeywordMatch = ["begin" "end;"] ["loop" "end loop;"] ["if" "end if;"] where each of the []-sections define a pair of keywords for matching. Of course it should be possible to costumize the list in order to add ...

Hi, I agree that this should be included in the syntax file. It seems to be the only appropriate place in order to cover the different languages. Regarding the discussion about "begin" in a comment line: We have the same problem with brackets today so this is fairly an argument not to include this ...

Hmmmm.... I haven't tried your suggestion out, but I doubt it would be able to do the right match in scenarios like this: begin bla-bla-bla begin bla-bla-bla end; end; I guess your solution would find the nearest "begin" when matching from the last "end;". Isn't it so? /Michael

Matching other than brackets

Hi,

I find the bracket matching feature extremely useful. But I would really like to have the ability of matching more then one-character sets. Specifically I would like to match if/end if and begin/end.
