I went through and set color changes, and did it the the "Default" class. But when I restart TextPad, or start a new document, the colors are still showing in default settings. Do I need to set each class separately to make them "apply" if I want them as "default"? Isn't there a way to even copy ...

OK, just seemed like a useful tool is all.

I got it -- for the most part.

What I cannot seem to get the Styles to do is the give me then a light background with black text for the current line -- a reverse of the white text on black but with a pale-colored background.

It just doesn't seem to want to do that.

Are you talking about Configure > Preferences > Document Classes > Default > Word break at column numer or Configure > Word Wrap ? As for the latter: I can perfectly have 3.553.679 characters (and more) in one line without having TextPad to wrap it anywhere. So how do you accomplish that? For ...
