To make an e-text (e.g. from Gutenberg) reflowable, I usually:
1. replace double line-ends with e.g. ##
2. replace remaining single line-ends with a space
3. replace ## with double line-ends, to re-create paragraphs

With the current release of Textpad, stage 1 above usually works OK. The second ...
