I open a plain text file in my Windows 10 PC and even I did no changes to it, when I exited Textpad I noticed the file modification time in Windows had been updated to the current time. The same problem did not happen if I open the file ...

Correction: this happens for other files as well, also for text (.txt) files, not for SQL files only.
