Thanks for taking the time to answer. Unfortunately, /* */ does not seem to work for me. Could you post some lines from your clips files that do recognize /*. Perhaps, I'm just not placing the comment chars in the right place.

Are comment lines supported in clip files?
I would like to comment out some of my HTML5 clips temporarily to make the menus shorter. I've tried every comment style I know of and nothing worked. Is there a comment character or comment block characters for a clips file?

Find window disappeared on Windows 7
The find popup appeared at the top of the Windows 7 screen and I could not pull it down. I think I must have pushed it up, out of the main window. Now I cannot find it. When I select Search->Find I see nothing.
I'm sure this is not a TextPad problem but hopefully experienced TextPad/Windows 7 users ...
