Year 2000 compliant?

Post by ramonsky »

In the specifications for TextPad, I note that TextPad is still claiming to be "Year 2000 compliant."

Isn't it time to drop this now? I mean, who cares? It's 2004. And the whole "year 2000 bug" thing was just a scam anyway.

Fair 'nuff.

Y2K wasn't a scam. A *lot* of work was required to keep a lot of old programs working. I have a friend who moved to America to fix old cobol programs for y2k. It was over-hyped (blame the media for that), but not a scam.
