How do I mark a certain number of words in a line? REWARD!!!

Post by affcenter »

HI there!

I am an Internet marketer and I wonder if Textpad can deliver this feature:

Say I have a list of words:

learn guitar
learn to play guitar
free guitar lessons
online guitar instruction

Is it possible to execute a command that marks lines that have 4 or more words?

That is:

learn guitar - 2 words
learn to play guitar - 4 words
free guitar lessons - 3 words
online guitar instruction - 3 words

After the command, the 2nd line "learn to play guitar" will be marked.

I have lists like this that contain 30,000+ words, and I really need this feature.

Because I need this thing solved FAST, I will award anyone who solve this for me FIRST $25 cash via Paypal. Please leave your Paypal email address in your response.

THANK YOU!!

search expression:

Code: Select all

[^ ]+ +[^ ]+ +[^ ]+ +[^ ]+
(there's a space after each ^ and one between the ++

Use "Mark all" button in Find dialog.

(and edit - copy other - bookmarked lines to copy the marked lines to wherever you need them)

I did not really expect the reward. But a "Thank you, it works" or a "Thank you, it does not work as I need it" would have been nice ...

(and don't tell me you didn't see the answer, you have read my pm ...)

But I'm not too surprised. That's what you might expect from an "internet marketer" (i.e. spammer?).
