Topic: Clipboard history stops recording clipboard entries

This is something I've come across before in v4.5.3 and it is happening again in v5.0. My instance of TP has been running for a fairly long time and now it is no longer recording copies or cuts in the Clipboard History. I've tried refreshing the library and clearing the history and neither has fixed...

Topic: Find in Help - how to remove a Document Class

Isn't this the way to do it? 1. Close all open documents. 2. On the Configure menu, click Preferences . 3. Click Document Classes . 4. Click the class you want to delete. 5. Click the red X. It's in the help file under How To -> Customize Settings -> Document Classes . The help file doesn't say that...

Nato, that is a ridiculous suggestion.

It should go on the Tools menu.

I bet the Find function still has the bug I reported a couple of years or more since. Can someone who's installed v5 let me know? Select 'match whole words' in the dialogue, find it. Close the dialogue, select some text that includes, say, a dot at the beginning, then do ctrl-F (NO dialogue box). I...

Are you getting "all kinds of errors" or just that error? If it's just that error, I think I fixed it like this (from memory): 1. On the Configure menu, click Preferences . 2. Double-click Document Classes . 3. Double-click HTML . 4. Click Syntax . 3. In the Syntax definition file list, se...

What happens if you try another keystroke combination? Is Ctrl+Alt+F the only key you can't use? If so, it's possible that it's already been assigned to a Windows shortcut. Try using a utility like this to check:

I'm getting the same as you. I also had a number of macros that I used fairly regularly (e.g. to replace smart quotes or to remove double spaces) and they no longer work in v5.0. They worked fine in v4.7.3. It would seem to be a bug. It is good that you found a workaround though. What version are yo...

Do you have the setting "Constrain the cursor to the text" on or off (under Preferences - Editor)?

I just tried that in TP5 and if the option is on, the cursor ends up between the 'e' and 'f'. If the option is off, the cursor ends up between the 'd' and 'e'.

Yes, just before the release of 5.0 there was a whole thread that was "mildly critical" of Helios that was deleted a few days later.

So the only way I have got around to checking which file I am working on right now is to keep pressing F12 now and then to open the "Save As" dialog box. This shows me the filename and then I press Escape. But all this could be avoided if we have the options of suppressing the full path i...
